Alhamdulillah I came to work early today at 8.55 am despite the last minute problem of searching for the car keys for a long time as it was missing from the usual place. Phoned mom and she said that she took it by mistake to her school in the morning. Called for the taxi straight away and it arrived just in time. First we sent Rose to her school as she had additional classes today and lastly I was sent to Kementerian Wilayah for my work. So relieved I had arrived early.
As I came in the office, no one was there so I started to clear the things in my drawers. There were many things in the drawers. I guess the former workers here did not take those stuff. I started looking through the stuff in the drawers and taking some magazines and small books that interest me out and put them on my desk .
I just enjoyed my time in the office doing my own thing until it was 10.30 am. I called the boss to ask if there was any work for me to do today and if anyone will be coming to the office today. He said that there seems to be no work for today and no one will be coming to the office. haha.
Suddenly, my father called and asked me if I'm going to the launching of the contest by Perdana Leadership Foundation. I said, oh yeah I should go there and do some coverage. My boss arrived at the office so I asked him about the launch. He said that he didn't know about it as he was not informed by Perdana Leadership Foundation.
I was really surprised. I thought how come my boss wasn't informed about this. I even searched about the launching in the internet but could not find it anywhere. How did my father and I know about the launch was actually from an email by the Perdana leadership foundation. If not, we wouldn't have known about it at all.
So I asked my boss if I could cover that event. He said yes and if I would need a camera. I definitely needed the DSLR camera. So I took the camera and the media jacket of My Putrajaya News. I was feeling really excited that time. I called my friend to pick me up and send me there. My friend came over and picked me up. I had already wore my jacket.

At about 12.15 pm, I arrived at the Perdana Leadership Foundation Precinct 8. I went in the building and saw the media table. I wrote my name in the registration book.

That was cool. I saw there were people sitting on the arranged chairs watching a live speech of Tun Mahathir on the projector screen. I walked into the hall where I saw Tun Mahathir giving his speech. The place was full. I started taking a lot of pictures and went at the front of the hall for a closer view. I was standing with all of the media people.
I really enjoyed taking pictures of Mahathir and the launching of the contest. It was really fun. I felt like a paparazzi. haha.
