My interview for work at Kementerian Wilayah

Long time no write, haha. Today at 9 am I arrived at Kementerian Wilayah for a job interview. There were 8 of us interviewees waiting. I was the seventh to be interviewed. At about 10.30 I was called to be interviewed.

When my turn came, I was told to introduce myself. There were two interviewers, one man and one woman. So I introduced myself and told my past experiences in University and also work. I told them that I love to take pictures, write and go to events plus I am working at My Putrajaya News.

They asked what is my opinion on the viral news on the media. So told them my opinion. They even asked a viral thing that has happened recently that was not a good one. So I told them that I was there covering the news but I didn't post anything negative or that could cause people to give bad remarks on that event such as the other media has done.

I told them that the media has huge responsibilities when posting something on the social media. So media people should check before posting something so that sensitive and controversy issues are avoided and not ruin someone's image or the country's.

My interview went well I guess. I'm really nervous. Only Allah's knows what's best for me. I hope I will get to work while studying I guess. That all from me, hope to write more soon. tata.

40 Pengantin Bersanding di Putrajaya – JRSM 2015

Sebahagian daripada 40 pasangan pengantin baru bergambar beramai ramai selepas majlis resepsi Raja Sehari Mega 2015 (Zon Tengah) disini.

PRESINT 5 – Sebanyak 40 pasangan pengantin selamat diijabkabulkan dalam Majlis Jelajah Raja Sehari Mega 2015 (Zon Tengah) yang merupakan penganjuran kali ketiga di Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin (MTMZA), disini.

Pengarah Program, Mohd Fitri Mohd Sapuan berkata, program jelajah tersebut itu merupakan kesinambungan kepada majlis yang diadakan sejak tiga tahun lalu di Putrajaya.

Tambahnya lagi, pada tahun ini sebanyak 40 pasangan telah dinikah dan disandingkan dalam satu majlis yang serba mewah dan meriah dengan hanya membayar RM5,000 bagi setiap pasangan.

“Segala kelengkapan termasuk persalinan, penginapan, pelamin, makanan, dan upacara perarakan pengantin menaiki kereta mewah telah disekalikan dalam satu bayaran.

“Selain itu, program ini sudah pasti dapat membantu belia dari sudut pengurusan kewangan secara berkesan apabila mereka tidak perlu membuat pinjaman untuk mendirikan rumah tangga,” katanya ketika ditemui.

Sementara itu, salah seorang peserta, Noor Ruhelmi Nordin, 27, yang berasal dari Petaling Jaya, Selangor, berkata dia dan pasangan amat bertuah kerana terpilih untuk melangsungkan perkahwinan dalam majlis tersebut.

“Program sebegini amat berbaloi kerana ia memberi peluang kepada kami untuk berjimat dan lebih bersedia kehidupan selepas perkahwinan serta lebih penting kedua-dua keluarga turut memberi sokongan penuh.

“Saya berharap program seperti ini akan diteruskan pada masa hadapan supaya lebih rama generasi muda dapat mempunyai keluarga tanpa perlu memikir masalah kewangan,” jelasnya.

Turut bersetuju, Ahmad Faiz Jamaludin, 30, kerana dia dan pasangan beranggapan wajar dilaksanakan bagi membantu meringankan beban pasangan mudah yang ingin mendirikan rumah tangga.

“Sekiranya tidak sertai program ini, mungkin saya dan pasangan terpaksa menunggu lama sebelum dapat mendirikan mahligai impian kami,” katanya.

Turut hadir, Ahli Dewan Negara,YB Senator Dato Khairudin E.S. Abd Samad yang merasmikan majlis tersebut.

Cerita saja-saja pertama :p (Taman DBKL Di Floria)

PRESINT 4 - Setelah melihat  taman-taman di festival Floria Diraja Putrajaya, penulis mendapati Taman DBKL paling cantik dan berjaya menarik perhatian para pengunjung untuk melihat taman tersebut yang mempersembahkan pokok-pokok bunga pelbagai  warna yang terdiri daripada pokok bunga lily, orkid dan lain-lain.

Taman tersebut telah memenangi  tiga anugerah iaitu Royal Floria Garden Gold Award, Royal Floria Garden Starlight Gold Award dan Royal Floria Putrajaya 2015 Prime Award.

Sesuai dengan pencapaiannya, taman tersebut telah mendapat perhatian yang menggalakkan dari para pengunjung dari pelbagai bangsa iaitu Melayu, China dan India dan mereka begitu teruja mengambil gambar pokok-pokok bunga disitu.

Sesuai dengan slogan Floria 2015 “Lily Tapestry of Hues”, taman tersebut telah mempersembahkan pokok bunga lilynya yang memenuhi satu kawasan dan disusun secara berbaris dari pelbagai warna seperti merah jambu, oren, merah dan putih.

Selain itu, terdapat persembahan pokok bunga orkid yang bewarna ungu terang dilihat tergantung dan memenuhi satu dinding serta pokok bunga orkid yang diletakkan di dalam pasu bunga yang menghadap tasik Putrajaya itu.

Penulis telah memilih salah seorang pengunjung untuk ditemuramah iaitu Puan Nur Ain yang berumur 60-an mengenai pendapatnya terhadap taman DBKL tersebut.

“Design taman ini sangat cantik dengan persembahan bunga-bunga dan saya juga merupakan peminat pokok bunga orkid serta mempunyai pokok bunga orkid sendiri di rumah.

“Pokok bunga orkid di sini sangat cantik dan tentu ianya lebih mahal.” katanya ketika ditemui.

Taman Kufi PPJ Tarik Perhatian Pengunjung Putrajaya

Pemandangan Taman Kufi Perbadanan Putrajaya berjaya menarik ribuan pengunjung untuk melihat kelainan taman tersebut sepanjang festival Floria Diraja Putrajaya 2015.

PRESINT 4 – Taman Kufi Perbadanan Putrajaya (PPj) yang berjaya memenangi anugerah taman luar biasa bersempena Floria Diraja Putrajaya 2015 telah menjadi tumpuan utama pelawat luar Putrajaya.

Taman Kufi PPJ yang mempamerkan tiga element utama iaitu maze, green wall dan atrium.

Maze yang berwarna hijau di sekeliling bangunan merupakan susunan kufi PERBADANAN PUTRAJAYA yang dapat dilihat dari pemandangan atas struktur bangunan tersebut.

Kewujudan green wall dihadapan bangunan tersebut yang berketinggian 7meter turut dihiasi tulisan Kufi PUTRAJAYA dan menjadi tumpuan pengunjung untuk melihat taman tersebut.

         Baharuddin

Pengurus Taman Kufi Perbadanan Putrajaya, Baharuddin Aziz berkata, segala persiapan Taman Kufi itu mengambil masa selama dua bulan.

“Struktur bangunan mengambil masa selama satu setengah bulan untuk siap dan baki dua minggu adalah untuk perhiasan bunga-bunga.

“Atrium ini merupakan pusat bangunan, dikelilingi kaca lutsinar supaya para pengunjung dapat melihat hiasan rimbunan tanaman menghijau serta persembahan 20 jenis spesies bunga,” katanya ketika ditemui.

Tambahnya lagi, pada waktu malam, taman tersebut akan memancarkan cahaya warna melalui sususan lampu yang dipasang dan ia menjadi kelainan kepada pengunjung pada waktu malam.

My first work to do media coverage for the launching of the writing and photo contest by Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad

Alhamdulillah I came to work early today at 8.55 am despite the last minute problem of searching for the car keys for a long time as it was missing from the usual place. Phoned mom and she said that she took it by mistake to her school in the morning. Called for the taxi straight away and it arrived just in time. First we sent Rose to her school as she had additional classes today and lastly I was sent to Kementerian Wilayah for my work. So relieved I had arrived early.

As I came in the office, no one was there so I started to clear the things in my drawers. There were many things in the drawers. I guess the former workers here did not take those stuff. I started looking through the stuff in the drawers and taking some magazines and small books that interest me out and put them on my desk .

I just enjoyed my time in the office doing my own thing until it was 10.30 am. I called the boss to ask if there was any work for me to do today and if anyone will be coming to the office today. He said that there seems to be no work for today and no one will be coming to the office. haha.

Suddenly, my father called and asked me if I'm going to the launching of the contest by Perdana Leadership Foundation. I said, oh yeah I should go there and do some coverage. My boss arrived at the office so I asked him about the launch. He said that he didn't know about it as he was not informed by Perdana Leadership Foundation.

I was really surprised. I thought how come my boss wasn't informed about this. I even searched about the launching in the internet but could not find it anywhere. How did my father and I know about the launch was actually from an email by the Perdana leadership foundation. If not, we wouldn't have known about it at all.

So I asked my boss if I could cover that event. He said yes and if I would need a camera. I definitely needed the DSLR camera. So I took the camera and the media jacket of My Putrajaya News. I was feeling really excited that time. I called my friend to pick me up and send me there. My friend came over and picked me up. I had already wore my jacket.

At about 12.15 pm, I arrived at the Perdana Leadership Foundation Precinct 8. I went in the building and saw the media table. I wrote my name in the registration book.

That was cool. I saw there were people sitting on the arranged chairs watching a live speech of Tun Mahathir on the projector screen. I walked into the hall where I saw Tun Mahathir giving his speech. The place was full. I started taking a lot of pictures and went at the front of the hall for a closer view. I was standing with all of the media people.

I really enjoyed taking pictures of Mahathir and the launching of the contest. It was really fun. I felt like a paparazzi. haha.

Thats all from me. Hope I will do well in future as a journalist. hehe.

Floria and Crazy day today

Assalamualaikum wbt

Today I went to Floria with Ba at about 9am. I didn't have work today, I will start on Monday. Floria was launched. Had breakfast and lunch there. Didn't have much time to look around.

After lunch,this is what happened. We went back to the car where we parked. I started the engine. Suddenly the car went crazy. It honked continuously without stopping. It was so loud. I couldn't stop it unless I switched off the engine. I had no choice.

I had to get out of the place fast and go straight home. So that's what I did. The car honked all the way back home. People were looking. I acted normal like nothing strange is happening. The sound was deafening. This was a test so I had to be patient. Thankfully we arrived home quickly.

I switched off the engine and was so relieved. fuuuhhh.

My little getaway

Just when it was time for solat Jumaat, the guys went out. I didn't know what to do. Nobody was at the office, I was all alone. Suddenly, Liyana called me. She asked me where I was. I told her I am at work in Presint 2.

She said she wanted me to accompany her to Alamanda as she wanted to buy books in MPH. She hasn't finished her book vouchers. I said to come over and pick me up. I was happy at the thought of going to Alamanda with her. She's at Putrajaya for only a few days. Lucky she called me on time.

So I waited for her outside the building at the side walk. She arrived after 15 mins I guess. Her younger brother came with her as well. We went straight to Alamanda and got a parking spot just as we entered the carpark. We walked towards the cafeteria RASA and ate our lunch there. I had sizzling hot noodles with chicken and egg. Liyana and her brother shared sizzling rice with beef. We chatted till I finished my food.

After lunch, Liyana sent me back to my office. Thanks Yana. :) So back to work! haha. But I'm not doing anything cause I haven't been assigned to do anything yet. My real work will start tomorrow for sure. Tomorrow will be a busy day for me. Oh wait! I have to translate a press release about 1MDB from English to Malay.
